The flora is relatively diverse in Fansipan. The mountain is to be approved as one of the very few ecotourist spots in Vietnam. There are 1,680 plant species divided into 679 families of 7 groups, many of which belong to rare and precious group. Below the foothills is home to the rice, jackfruit... with relatively dense density, creating beautiful sights, namely Coc Leu (Coc Gao), Coc San (Coc Mit)... Up to the altitude of 700m is tropical belt with dense primitive forests and tangled vines. Above 700m concentrates the gymnosperms, for instance, Pomu (Fujian cypress in English). Train arrives at Lao Cai Railway Station at 06:00AM. Transfer to Sapa by minibus. Have breakfast at the hotel or in the local restaurant (optional). Relax for a while.
09:00: Head for the valley Y Linh Ho by car then trek to Lao Chai village, a village of the Black H’mong. A short walk down to the river will take you to a hill tribe house to see their living style and the local women making their handicraft clothes. 06:00 – 08:00: The day starts early onboard with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Tai chi also called Tai chi chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements.
Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.
08:00 – 09:00: Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most biggest cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended.
Back to Glory Legend Cruises. Check out and settle your bill at reception.
Have a brunch while cruising back to the Tuan Chau Wharf. Relaxing on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery while approaching the wharf.
Disembark to Tuan Chau Wharf. Say goodbye to the crew. Transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around 15:00. Check in your hotel. Free at your leisure or shopping in the Old Quarter. Dinner on guest’s account and overnight at your hotel in Hanoi
